At this homepage you can get an impression on my ongoing research in the area of algebraic coding theory. In this area algebraic structures, such as finite fields and algebraic varieties defined over a finite field , are used to construct error-correcting codes. I am especially interested in using algebraic curves defined over a finite field for this purpose.
